Accessibility information
Last updated: 3 August 2026
This English version is a non-binding convenience translation provided for information purposes only. Solely the German version of this page is legally binding; in the event of any discrepancy, the German version prevails.
1. Provider, legal basis and scope
This information applies to the Quickard web application at quickard.de, including registration, sign-in, the signed-in app, booking and payment functions, and public Quickard contact pages at quickard.de/<slug>.
The service provider is EBS Euchner Büro- und Schulsysteme GmbH (see the legal notice). This information is provided under Section 14 (1) no. 2 and Annex 3 of the German BFSG to the extent Quickard falls within that Act as an e-commerce service.
2. General description of the service
Quickard is web-based software for creating, managing and publishing digital business cards. Users create an account and, where applicable, an organization, select a plan, enter contact and media data, design a card and publish it as a web contact page. Visitors can read contact details, open links or routes, download a vCard, access the card by QR code and — if enabled by the card provider — use a form, video, map or wallet pass.
3. How the service is provided
The main steps are account creation and sign-in, selection of a free or paid plan, creation or editing of a contact page, preview and publication. Paid orders display plan, scope, total price, term and billing before the final declaration. Management includes card data, team roles and billing; contracts can be ended online and a data extract can be requested. Public pages are available without sign-in. On request we provide information and support in an accessible alternative where difficulties arise.
4. How accessibility requirements are met
Quickard is designed so information can be perceived through more than one sensory channel. Text, structure and controls should remain available at zoom and across screen sizes. Non-text content can have alternatives; information is not conveyed only by color, shape, position or sound.
Essential functions should be operable by keyboard. Focus indicators, programmatic labels, understandable names, status messages and errors support navigation and correction. Time-based or moving content is limited or controllable. Content and controls are provided semantically and technically robustly for common browsers, screen readers and assistive technology.
Identification, authentication, security and payment functions are designed to be perceivable, operable, understandable and robust as required by Section 19 German BFSGV. The public web contact page remains available as an alternative to supplementary wallet displays.
5. Standards and assessment
Implementation is guided by the German BFSGV, EN 301 549 and WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Quality is checked through automated and manual visual and keyboard testing. This is not a certification. Identified non-conformities are assessed and addressed promptly through appropriate corrective action; where legally required, the competent market surveillance authority is notified.
6. Customer and third-party content
Customers choose their own text, colors, images, audio, video, maps and files. Quickard provides accessible templates, contrast support and input assistance; customers remain responsible for making their content accessible and providing alternatives. The Section 1 (4) no. 4 BFSG exception only covers third-party content that EBS neither funds, develops nor controls. It does not cover Quickard's own templates, controls or validation.
